Let me summarize the game for you: "Hmm, people loved Sunless Sea, so let's get more money by marketing a total BS after it."If you loved Sunless Sea, then you'll probably hate this game. The most attractive part of the Sunless Sea is lost. The ambiance sucks, the gameplay sucks, the story of the "world" has been reduced to BS. I mean, why the f* does everything float? Why do every "engine" have to travel at the same altitude, what holds them there? They couldn't even bother putting a story behind it. Just make the crap named after a masterpiece [Sunless Sea] and people will buy anyway. That's their motivation. But you can't immerse yourself into the story unless you somehow find a way to make yourself believe it in the first place. The fight mechanics couldn't be worse even if you tried! You can only fire two-three shots (which can easily be dodged) per 10-20 seconds without overheating -_- (ok i know this game shouldn't be about fighting, but c'mon!)And by the way, WHY THE F*CK CAN I NOT, for example, READ MY JOURNAL WITHOUT STOPPING THE GAME! The devs can be too stupid to read while sailing, but I'm sure most players aren't!I really DO NOT RECOMMEND this game, I bought this game on sale and even that money is too much!. I shipped a cargo of extra time to a colony of pantomime psychologists because a space clown told me they would fetch a good price. My aunt made cookies but wouldn't let me have any, then I died when I turned too slowly and ran into an asteroid. 10\/10, would let me aunt bully me into hiring her again.. Sunless Skies has some great gaming elements (interesting dialogues, stunning visuals, creative music). However, this game is a constant and painful grind: You may run courier missions for money (sovereigns), while gaining a property called terror. Pretty much all interactions with the environment increases your terror. Unfortunately, once your terror is maxed - you die. So, instead of freely exploring his environment, our dear locomotive driver (you) hastily rushes from one port to another in search for sovereigns, supplies, fuel or absolution of terror. That's pretty much it. Even after 45+ hours of gaming and exploring two worlds with different locomotives.TL:DRIf you feel like you need to punish yourself, play this game.. I was hoping for a new storyline in addition to a graphical update and new game mechanics. There are a few new game mechanics, but the story is a rehash of Sunless Seas with a few small name changes and nothing else new. The stories in Sunless Seas felt like you were exploring some and trying new events each play through, while this feels like I'm being forced to have my hand held. Returned and will be enjoying Seas instead of this.Edit: Also, no support for 21:9 ratio. What gives? Older Sea has support for this but your newest Skies doesn't? Army of Two: Ready for Challenge Mode? Well, don't fight alone. Invite an ally and take on hell together! When playing with an Ally in Challenge mode both players play as 2 different classes which you can switched between on the fly. This open up crazy new combo opportunities, especially if you work together.Remember challenge mode is tough, like really tough. So watch each other's back and try work out the best weapon combination for any given situation.. Eternity Warriors™ VR Update on Eternity Warriors VR: Dear Warriors!It's been way too long and we apologise, but we think you all deserve an update on the development of Eternity Warriors VR even if it’s many months too late. So what happened? Why did we go silent for so long? Well, when EWVR first launched in Early Access it was actually doing fairly well. But unfortunately, EWVR was a very expensive game to maintain and the sales weren’t doing well enough for the game to sustain itself. So, we had to take on contract work, which meant our energy had to be shifted away from EWVR. This was obviously a really tough decision to make, but one we had to.Our original intention was to always come back to EWVR once we were done with the contract work, but that sort of got away from us. We got inspired and started tinkering away at something new. Next thing you know, that little thing we were tinkering away with grew bigger and bigger and even managed to get picked up a publisher and became our next major project.So over the next couple of months you might hear about this new project we have been working. It’s something we are really proud of, but it’s also something very different to what we’ve done with EWVR and we can’t wait to finally unveil to the world.But what does this mean for EWVR? To be honest, we don’t know. The VR landscape has changed so much since we first started developing the game that it’s hard to say whether it would be worth it for us. Returning to EWVR has been a discussion we’ve had internally and one we continue to have. But at this moment in time we still don’t have a good definitive answer on the future of EWVR.For the time being EWVR will remain as it is. The servers are going to remain up if you still want to play with friends and challenge high scores.
